It’s going to be okay

I just wanted to leave a quick word today for those who are hurting. I know it can be tough to believe that it’s all going to be okay.

Perhaps loved ones are struggling and you feel helpless to ease their pain.

Perhaps you are experiencing debilitating anxiety or depression.

Maybe you’ve been making changes but just not seeing any improvement and are beaten down by discouragement.

Perhaps life is so overwhelming you don’t know if you can continue one more minute.

I get it. Really. I’ve felt all of those things in the last few weeks.

And while I was unsure what to share in my post today, and praying about some challenges in my own life, I felt the Holy Spirit lead me to tell you that

YOU ARE LOVED.

It’s true. God loves us so much more than we can ever imagine (John 3:16). Imagine how much you love your child and would do anything for him/her. God loves you even more than that (Jeremiah 31:3)! He doesn’t want you hurting; He wants to help you (Psalm 121:2)!

The verse referenced above comes from Romans chapter 8. Paul is outlining some struggles we may face but concludes by saying that God is bigger than all those challenges.

So today, take a moment and imagine God wrapping His loving arms around you. Let Him comfort you for a while. It may not solve all of your problems in an instant, but it can certainly ease the burden and remind you to trust Him with the burdens.

With love Friend,

Andrea ❤️
