This is my New Years gift guide. The post-Christmas, didn't get what you want, fill in the holes list. You'll find lots of great kitchen and household items on this list.
I do realize we just opened gifts for Christmas. I’m also certain that there were items you wanted and didn’t get or items you just didn’t feel right asking for – like kitchen gadgets. These make great gifts for yourself after Christmas!
In the 1950s it was common to receive garbage cans and mixers for Christmas. But then that became a sad commentary on womanhood. Not sure how. I LOVE getting mixers for Christmas. And I’ve had a garbage can on my list for like 5 years now. So let’s take a look at what you can get for a great price at Amazon before the end of the year.

Coffee: A Gift for Yourself

I love coffee. If you’ve been here for a while, you probably know this about me. And I’m pretty versatile. I like hot coffee, lattes, iced coffee, cold brew, cold foam, frappuccinos. While I don’t like my coffee terribly sweet, I do love a good coffee. Here are some deals for coffee lovers.

My husband bought this for me last year and it&#8217;s amazing. I can make regular coffee by the cup or the pot. Of course, because it&#8217;s a Keurig, there are infinite options for what we can brew &#8211; coffee (of course) but also <a href="https://amzn.to/3YMgcaQ" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener nofollow">tea</a>, <a href="https://amzn.to/3YMgcaQ" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener nofollow">apple cider</a>, and <a href="https://amzn.to/3YMgcaQ" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener nofollow">cocoa</a>. We also keep this <a href="https://amzn.to/3hGKg7a" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener nofollow">pitcher</a> under the k-cup side so nothing ever brews without a cup to capture it. With three sizes, it can be tough to know which coffee cup you want to use so this takes care of that issue. I&#8217;ll be honest, if I had to just have one way to make coffee, this would probably be better than all of my Starbucks runs for lattes. Phillips has an amazing line of coffee pots but <a href="https://amzn.to/3HY3Iqp" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">this</a> is my favorite. </li>



<li>In my dream world, I would love to try a <a href="https://amzn.to/3BZh7e2" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener nofollow">Nespresso machine</a>. It seems so elegant. <a href="https://amzn.to/3BZh7e2" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener nofollow">This</a> is the one I want, and it comes with the <a href="https://amzn.to/3BZh7e2" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener nofollow">milk frother</a> (high foam, low foam, and cold foam) so lattes are right around the corner! <a href="https://amzn.to/3BZh7e2" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener nofollow">This</a> Nespresso won&#8217;t break the bank, either. </li>



<li>Finally, <a href="https://amzn.to/3Wm44LQ" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener nofollow">this</a> is the simple cold brew system I have. I love its simplicity. There&#8217;s a tiny filter inside the spout that catches any fine coffee grounds, so your <a href="https://amzn.to/3Wm44LQ" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener nofollow">brew</a> is never grainy. mmm &#8211; so good! </li>

<p>Mixers aren&#8217;t sexy but oh, the foods you can make! There are few kitchen appliances I could do without but this is one of them. While I have all of the ones I&#8217;m highlighting, my can&#8217;t-do-without is the Kitchen Aid, hand&#8217;s down.</p>



<ul>
<li>The first item I would recommend is <a href="https://amzn.to/3VmUwPz" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener nofollow">this</a> Black and Decker <a href="https://amzn.to/3VmUwPz" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener nofollow">immersion blender</a>. For years I wondered what all the fuss was about with <a href="https://amzn.to/3VmUwPz" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">immersion blenders</a>. I mean, I have a blender so what&#8217;s the big deal? Time. Time is a big deal. And you save bunches of it with <a href="https://amzn.to/3VmUwPz" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener nofollow">this mixer</a>.  </li>



<li>Similar to an immersion blender, but for smaller quantities and drinks is this <a href="https://amzn.to/3VjFMB1" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">small frother</a>. This is amazing for mixing <a href="https://amzn.to/3VjFMB1" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener nofollow">lattes</a>, <a href="https://amzn.to/3VjFMB1" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener nofollow">dressings</a>, and <a href="https://amzn.to/3VjFMB1" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener nofollow">sauces</a>. My sons use <a href="https://amzn.to/3VjFMB1" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">it</a> daily for their <a href="https://amzn.to/3BT0YXt" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener nofollow">protein powder</a> and <a href="https://amzn.to/3Wd05Bn" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener nofollow">pre-workout</a>. Our first one lasted over 5 years and when it finally quit, we immediately bought <a href="https://amzn.to/3VjFMB1" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener nofollow">another</a>. I&#8217;m not sure what I did before this little <a href="https://amzn.to/3VjFMB1" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener nofollow">gadget</a>! </li>



<li>I love my <a href="https://amzn.to/3YOB4Ov" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener nofollow">hand mixer</a> for smaller cooking and quick baking. If I&#8217;m whipping something up with just a few ingredients, this is my <a href="https://amzn.to/3YOB4Ov" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener nofollow">go-to mixer</a>. And I love <a href="https://amzn.to/3WgThTg" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener nofollow">cuisinart kitchen appliances</a>. They have been 100% reliable for me. This has a <a href="https://amzn.to/3YOB4Ov" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener nofollow">good motor</a> to get you through thicker batters, too. I really like the<a href="https://amzn.to/3YOB4Ov" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener nofollow"> 5-speed</a>, but if you want a <a href="https://amzn.to/3YOB4Ov" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener nofollow">3-speed</a>, that&#8217;s an option too.</li>



<li> My favorite <a href="https://amzn.to/3WJpItz" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener nofollow">mixer</a> of all time is my Kitchenaid <a href="https://amzn.to/3WJpItz" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener nofollow">stand mixer</a>. I would not be able to do nearly the baking that I do without this <a href="https://amzn.to/3WJpItz" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener nofollow">mixer</a>. Really, this is worth the money. I prefer the <a href="https://amzn.to/3WJpItz" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener nofollow">Artisan model</a>, but if you do less baking the <a href="https://amzn.to/3PMhM8z" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener nofollow">classic</a> would serve you just fine. I&#8217;ve had mine for 15 years and it&#8217;s still going strong.</li>

<p>Didn&#8217;t get the air fryer you wanted? Toaster on the fritz? I&#8217;ve gotcha covered! </p>

<li>I prefer the Instant Pot brand and this air fryer is amazing. Perhaps you have friends who rave about <a href="https://amzn.to/3I1Yp9x" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener nofollow">them</a>? Make no mistake, it&#8217;s not just for fries! You can cook just about anything in <a href="https://amzn.to/3I1Yp9x" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">this</a> appliance! If you prefer the <a href="https://amzn.to/3Vk4QI6" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener nofollow">Ninja</a> brand, there&#8217;s <a href="https://amzn.to/3Vk4QI6" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener nofollow">this one</a>, too.  We bought our son the Ninja for college at Christmas.</li>



<li>This <a href="https://amzn.to/3jnWMZy" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener nofollow">panini maker</a> is perfect for winter sandwiches. <a href="https://amzn.to/3hQzeft" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener nofollow">This press</a> from Proctor Silex allows you to make really thick sandwiches too, with <a href="https://amzn.to/3hQzeft" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener nofollow">easy to clean parts</a>. If you&#8217;ve tried to clean a press before then you know how important this feature is. My kids love a good pressed <a href="https://amzn.to/3jnWMZy" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener nofollow">panini</a>!</li>



<li>When I need a <a href="https://amzn.to/3HX3uQm" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener nofollow">stand-up toaster</a>, this is my go-to. I love that it fits <a href="https://amzn.to/3HX3uQm" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener nofollow">extra wide</a> pieces of brioche! <a href="https://amzn.to/3HX3uQm" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener nofollow">GE</a> is a super brand and can be counted on for a very long life. </li>



<li>My favorite toasters are <a href="https://amzn.to/3jel3kD" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener nofollow">toaster ovens</a>. They permit regular small baking as well as <a href="https://amzn.to/3jel3kD" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener nofollow">toasting</a> bread and bagels. My <a href="https://amzn.to/3jel3kD" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener nofollow">favorite brand</a> over the years is the one I have now &#8211; <a href="https://amzn.to/3jel3kD" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener nofollow">KitchenAid</a>. It&#8217;s sturdy and accurate. </li>

Make no mistake, though, it works fantastic. Note that it does not work on an induction stovetop. If that&#8217;s what you have, you&#8217;ll need a <a href="https://amzn.to/3I03xLo" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener sponsored nofollow">separate single burner</a> or <a href="https://amzn.to/3WHHVr5" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener nofollow">adapter</a> for your stovetop. </li>

It&#8217;s great for meat but also great for knowing when your baking is done.
